Joe has had a love for organic horticulture since 1980. The farm was purchased in 1987 and we chose the name Spring Water Farm because of the natural spring that provides water for us and our animals on the property. It has been an organic farm ever since.

       Organic farming, to us, simply means farming the way nature had intended. This is how we grow our Christmas trees. All trees are hand planted, pruned and trimmed by hand, and grown without the use of herbicides, pesticides or irrigation. Our family is just here to assist Mother Nature where we can.

       At times insects, weather or disease gets the best of us. But thats just nature at work. We have to be flexible and think long term to remain a small organic farm but its what feels right to us and we enjoy being part of that process.

       We love all the seasons here on the farm but we especially love the holiday season. From selling local crafts and our own maple syrup in our Christmas gift shop to helping families go home with that perfect Christmas tree.
